We took care of one of Ayla’s class pets over the holidays. Shadow the snake. He was sent home with a ziploc full of dead mice which we kept in the freezer and we had the honor of feeding him. Disgusting yet we couldn’t look away. After he ate the mouse he didn’t move for 3 or 4 days. I got worried and kept bothering him to make sure he was still alive.
